About Murrakei Farms

Murrakei farms is located in the picturesque farming area of Red Hills, Tasmania in North-West Tasmania. We are proudly family-owned and operated with four generations of our family working on this land over the past century.

Our farm can be broken down into two main operations - a polytunnel berry farm, and cropping and livestock.

Our hydroponic, poly-tunnel berry farm is spread across 10ha growing strawberries on table tops, raspberries and blackberries.

We work hard to grow quality fruit and produce and pride ourselves on having a friendly, safe, clean and positive work environment.

Our cropping and livestock part of the farm grows crops like potatoes, barley, Pyrethrum with some cattle and sheep livestock.

We are incredibly proud to have created a workplace culture that is supportive, welcoming and friendly. Our goal has always been to create an atmosphere where everyone who works with us feels like part of our extended family rather than distant employees.
